WCOM is a tight-lipped organization--they don't telegraph their intentions, as you noted. After they digest MCIC and produce a
seamless organization would be a fine time to include wireless in their operations. It would make me (and apparently you) some nice money.

However, I raise the question -- Is 'wireless' part of WCOM's long-term strategy? How essential is it that they offer it to their target customers, primarily the commercial and business accounts? I'd appreciate input from the thread.

Vodafone and Airtouch have held merger discussions in the past, but nothing came of them, partly due to the rapid change in the price of their shares, and disagreement over who would come out on top. It makes a good fit, and may yet happen.
