How long this can last is anybody's guess if the rest of the world flushes itself down the toilet.

Paul,

By cutting prices, Intel has put their competitors in a position where the only way to sell product is with very low margins.

Had Intel decided to sacrifice a little market share and keep margins up, everyone would be making more money.

If the CPU business is going down the toilet, Intel has nobody but themselves to blame for it. Cyrix would have been perfectly happy to sell CPU's for $300.

Hi Paul, are the AMD earnings real or just a result of accounting creativity? Is the business as good as they say?

Thanks Pancho
