Hi TT

the markets look very resiliant...amazing...looks and smells like a bottom coming..

last nite on P&F charting the NYSEBP reversed DOWN...it's the first time in 18 years this happened...

Tom Dorsey said it has major bullish implications....

TT ----

SPX --- SPZ -----

In a way, I'm glad that the BBx isn't currently operating for I feel sure that the overnight Globex would have cause a major short circuit, blown fuse, loss of data, etc ....... ggggg

My knee was bothering me some during the night and I was up and online four times during my normal sleeping hours and I kept the Globex screen on an open browser window .
My thoughts and what Greenspan had to say just a while ago were along similar patterns -----
He said that he'd been monitoring the eco markets for 50 yrs( I've been actively participating in the stock market for 40 yrs ) and he said that he'd never seen such complete risk aversion and liquidity awareness .......

Tell you what is even fully as strange as those two concurrent thoughts from Greenspan and me is -----
I have NO difficulty understanding him and his speech patterns .....
he reminds me VERY much of an Eco teacher from whom I took 4 courses in college and was so impressed with that I talked my then espoused and now wife into talking an elective course from him.
As she was an education major, it was a complete departure from her regular academic fare -------
even now, she remarks at the similarity between the two.

The main reason for this rambling discourse is to see if, among some of the more elder of our thread, there is any agreement with Greenspan's thoughts this morning.

Regards ---- Nemer

Tom,

Thanks.
So it's been 3 sells in a row, and only money management stops had stopped you out of taking the profit.
Looks like the volatility of the market shook your system, too.
Indeed it was incredible- 9 out of the 10 largest ever volume days happened in the last two months. The 3% a day swings + 2% swings on Globex (i.e. this morning) could kill any medium term system.
I did so so last month, trying to better my trader skills.
I was right more often then not, but couldn't translate that to a significant improvement of my net. Winning in spoonfuls and losing in buckets.
