Just looked at the 100 day for ASND. Looks like a nice double bottom in the making. Any of you chart guys have any comments with regard to the upside?

Gary,

Could you expand on your comment below:
"Rather that both Alcatel and Cisco wanted to be dominant in the Telco's. Since this isn't synergistic to each companies business they decided to part in this area. So, what does this say about ASND's telco aspirations? Are they willing to concede business in this space for the sake of the partnership? This is why Cisco is successful with their partners - they seek equitable value for both organizations - when there is none they downplay the relationship"

The way I read this is that you think Cisco can do better in the Telco space alone than by teaming with Alcatel and (possibly) Alcatel believes they can do better in that space than by teaming with Cisco.
Why wouldn't the whole be greater than the sum of the parts in this case? Do you think both Cisco and Alcatel feel this way, or just Cisco, or just Alcatel? Actually, in that email there was a reference to Alcatel teaming with Ascend, so do you think Cisco spurned Alcatel, and Alcatel got "stuck with" Ascend?

Thanks in advance
Matt
