This I call an emotional outburst. All I can say is that you just have NO IDEA about MB's ability to judge stocks!

james, mike has good analysis. a no growth stock like intel doesn't deserve a 26 pe except in an irrational bubble market. the problem is that the rest of america is dumb and can't figure out intel is a no growth company. that is, until they don't grow for awhile.

mike called the bank stocks - ahead of time, to a "t." when atmel was $50 he said $10, bingo. hated xlnx and altr. he was wrong on the stock (dead right on the business - but dumb is as dumb does - and dumb believed management that "next q would be great" for 6 qs. they then figured out - after 6 straight q's of nothing, that management was full of crap).

intel, if they don't grow as they haven't been, is worth maybe 60% of the present valuation. if they do grow then they are worth more. i don't think they grow for a while.
