Hi Patrick: First of all: thank you for tallying the earnings estimate. Now that the end of the qurter is only 12 days away, I suggest that we send our estimate via PM to you. In essence it is like a secret ballot. After Nov 12, you can publish our estimates and see who comes in the closest. My reasoning is this: a. there has been some talk that whisper numbers take into account stock chat estimates. And since we are mostly bulls here, we tend to be more optimistic than most. Hence if the whisper number is pumped up, and Dell does not beat that unrealistic estimate, the stock will be penalized as a result. b. by keeping our estimates secret, we will not be influenced by what other estimates that have been published. Anybody who watches "The Price is Right" can relate to this (such as "I want to be the highest or the lowest" syndrome). c. Only you will know all our estimates prior to announcement. Thank you. PAL
