John, That conference call was well over a month ago. I thought it was in early Sept. but don't have the exact dates.

Regardless of what they said then, they will need to reiterate all those comments in order to put these issues to rest. That's why I think a cc would have been better at this point.

There are obviously questions that are not going to be answered in the normal quarterly report...They aren't going to write a competitive analysis for us. They aren't going to talk about how many times they've won against SAP, etc...They aren't going to go into any great detail about the middle market, etc. At least I don't think they are anyway.

One thing they're going to have to do for sure...is convince the market that they are not seeing any Y2k pressure. And convince the market that SAP is not causing any problems for them here in the U.S. But even if they say that I am starting to wonder if these comments will be perceived positively in light of SAP's recent comments.

I have to think if SAP is seeing strength in the U.S. then this has to be at PSFT's expense since after all, they are head to head competitors. It just kills me to say that because I just don't like SAP....never have and never will.... but this isn't an issue of which company I like better.
