Interesting article:

dailynews.yahoo.com

Almost forgot that some people, that actually put their life on the line so we can have freedom, cannot exercise their basic constitutional right: Freedom of speech.

I am def. off now so you all can take a turn. gg.

Sonny, a very quiet day on the main thread also.

Thanks for the day's market summary. MSFT, IBM, and another very good earnings report that came out was from EMC. EMC is in the same ballpark with Dell and Cisco in stock price runup the last few years. Anybody smart enough to have bought it?

techstocks.com

They make storage products for computers, networks, etc. Of course, now the stock is quite high, but on another dip, it's probably a good buy. Storage is supposed to continue to grow faster than CPUs over the next few years.

Is that J. Bollinger as in Bollinger bands?

About that wine, it didn't evaporate along with the profits, did it?

I actually decided to look at my 401K today, and it's getting back up there. It's online, up to date as of yesterday's close, and monies can be switched around daily, if one wanted to. Makes you remember what a driver 401K et al are to the market, as many millions of folks like me pound that money in there for future retirement. It has to be an upward force to the markets. A lot of people are probably getting back into the S&P's and Fidelity Magellans now, if they'd gone "safe" to fixed incomes etc. I never moved any. Don't trust my ability to call a trend either way, so I leave it.

Yankees in five, which I predicted before game one.
