Well 30 x this years .63 = $18.90, which is about where it's trading. I would imagine it has potential to trade up to 30 x next years .82, or $24.60.

That's my fair value range: 18.90 - 24.60

No need to sell at this morning's price. But, no need to get excited about buying either.

Rick.

This stock could return to 57 (old high) in 2000. That's a 3 bagger in 2 years:

Here's how:

99 EPS: conservative at .82, really .85 at least
2000 EPS: 1.20 as demand picks up, PSFT takes mkt share
2001 EPS: 1.60 (33% growth)
Throw on a 35 multiple on forward 12 months earnings (for a 30% growth rate which is reasonable)

Worst case: Stock trades at 19 (23 X next yr's conservative EPS) only slightly higher than market PE, with much higher growth rate. The worst case is already factored in. We only need overly bullish Lehman analyst to capitulate to make it complete.

All high growth stocks must slow down (CSCO, MSFT, INTC have done this). The only thing is that their transitions were slower.
