I agree with most of your post. However:

Asia's recovery is just beginning. I have to disagree with you here. There is still, IMO, a lot of grief in Asia. Even so, any recovery there won't do any good to us over here until their currencies start recovering and making their imports more expensive and our exports cheaper. I don't see that for several quarters at least, and I would not be surprised if there were a few major bank or corporate failures in Japan before this is all over.
