judd, sunw making 4% move compare to dell 2.x% ibm 1.x% move. ibm making new hi. what do u think of IBM's deal w. SCOC? is that a threat to msft or sunw? are u long IBM also? btw: thx for the info on windowSoft. If i can run my brokerage company's sw on Sunw workstation and get free office sw this will be a great deal. do u know how much is a basic darwin system vs. dell workstaions? just the hardware cost. i undersand i have to pay for msoffice vs. staroffice is for free. Also, do u know if monitors are interchangeable? I like to spend a lot mony on good monitors as they don't down in value as fast as the cpu.
