Bob,
You realize that we are wasting our time "trying" to debate with these two men of wisdom....men of hate....and men of fear. Did I say men of hate. If I didn't, I meant to say men of hate.

I have a young nephew, that drew the short straw with his birth characteristics...effeminate voice and all the other traits. He had these traits at an age well before he had ever heard what a homosexual was. Ridiculed and shunned by many(especially the hatemongers), I proud to say he is my nephew and I can truly say, that his Mother and Father love him dearly. He has grown up to be a fine young man, but sadly because of his luck of the draw(we might say God's handy work),he will never have the opportunities that I have had in a career, especially since he will have to always worry about the hatemongers like Chris and Dan. And to think that the mantra from Chris and Dan is that "God created all men equal". Yes, if they aren't born with dark skin, homosexual traits, Jewish, and the list goes on and on. A loving God, but he sure puts a lot of weigh on the moment and place you are born. You damn sure can't place the blame on the DEVIL for whom you were born, but he gets the blame for all the consequences.

Sexual activity was not on the list of things for Jesus to do. Regardless of the actions of sick willie, sex is not the center of our existence. You seem to forget that Jesus led the only Perfect life.

And yes, Christ's Disciples, had prejudices of the day. They felt it was wrong to associate with Samaritans, plain and simple. Where else, other than the Samarian woman, did the Disciples show disdain with whom Jesus was associating? You seem to see yourself as a Biblical scholar, so tell me about other associations of Jesus with less than respectable (in man's eyes) people. There are some. See if you can cast those instances in some sort of perverted way.

Robert Barry,

I am mainly on SI for researching undervalued stocks,
but since you clearly are mistating the truth about
what the Holy Bible really states... and are clearly
trying to corrupt people with lies, mistatements
and desception about what Jesus really said and did,
I will make the time to look up the TRUTH!!!

I am a practicing Catholic, and I believe It's up to
all Christians to make sure that the truth of what
the Holy Bible really states (and can and should
be easily confirmed by everyone making the time to
read it for themselves!
:)is told, and not allow
some who clearly are trying to distort the truth in
order to confuse others about what Jesus really said
and did, and then somehow convince them that some-
thing that is clearly identified as sin (homo-
sexual behavior) in the Holy Bible is no longer a
sin; when it always has been (in Sodom, etc...)and
will be...because the Holy Bible is the word of God
and that's where I look for the truth. Period!

Not only do you misquote verses in the Holy Bible,
by changing words, leaving out verses which add to
the context, but you also try and infer that Jesus
may have done sinful acts...your agenda is loud and
clear :(

<<Yeh, but, she had told Jesus that she was from Samaria. She didn't tell the disciples where she came from.>>

If anyone makes the time to read all of John 4,
then they will see that you are trying to distort
the truth by not telling that Jesus already knew
the woman was a Samaritan before being told by
her(John 4:7), and that the disciples also knew
the woman was a Samaritan, and that they were
in the Samaritan city of Sy'-char ( John 4:5)...
Even though other Jews traditionally had "no
dealings with the Samaritans" (John 4:9), Jesus
spoke with her and asked her for a drink of water
and then spent two days with the Samaritans!

<<Besides that, it didn't say that the
disciples marvelled that he was talking with a
Samarian woman. It just said "a woman".>>

John 4:27 clearly shows "the woman"; not "a" woman!
In fact, here is what it states: "And upon this
came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked
with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou?
or, Why talkest though with her?

Shawn

PS: The more I see SI invaded by people who
spend all their time mistating the Holy Bible
and trying to convince others that the truth
and rules from God have somehow changed, gives
me more and more reason to make the time to
pick up the Holy Bible and read the truth for
myself! :)

PSS: It also gives more reason to earn enough money
to pay for my children to go to a Parochial or
Christian school, where they at least have a chance
to hear the TRUTH- as public schools are probably
being overun by atheists like yourself!:(
