I have no idea... nothing may come of it at all.. that's why even though I'm excited about the idea that we MIGHT get something out of it, I still want to stay focused on BNEZ's products and distribution.
I will say that IF BNEZ can find some good dirt on AOL, it's likely they'd settle out of court.. they don't wanna be tied up in court forever and pay thousands of dollars and then somehow lose the case.
being a penny stock, they should take whatever they can get.

Elio,

From reviewing the court document, I see the following:

1. The judge doesn't know enough to issue a summary judgement. It is still possible but he can't tell if AOL simply republishes the information or makes changes, etc. 90 days for discovery.

2. After the limited discovery allowed by the judge, he will make an other decision. May be an additional 60 days to rule.

3. If BNEZ can show that AOL alters the data via the program or whatever of another company, then either:

a. The two parties settle (out of court) which is MOST likely.
b. The case goes to trial.

Depending on the significance of the verdict, AOL may or may not be willing to settle.

4. The judge may still issue a summary judgement which means that the judge does not think that BNEZ has a case and it's not worth wasting the court's time.

That my interpretation. I have been an expert witness in some very large cases in the past. I am an Engineer and not an attorney but I understand the basics of how these cases progress.

VERY FEW cases ever go to trial.
