Letter of Recommendation To avoid the possibility of being sued, I was once advised how to write a reference for someone who we asked to look for another job - because he never did any work - ever. He was the biggest timewaster of all time. I took the advice and sent the following letter of recommendation to the guy's prospective employer ... " Mr SoandSo has been an employee of this company for xx years. He is intelligent and honest. You will be lucky if you get him to work for you." He got the job!
