Niel's, quick question - I always assumed you were here at odd hours because you were in Denmark. Why the late hours now? A friend of mine at work has been trying to get me into puts and calls also. Mainly puts - he has been bearish since I've known him. Even gave me a CBOT (I think) booklet - but I haven't got around to reading it. I think the only time I would think of placing a "call" or "put" would be on something I was 100% sure about. You know one of those once in a life time opportunities (of which RACE isn't), and then I'd bet my bank. I'm up around 200% this year but that has only been by following my gut feeling at certain times. I had almost 30% in ATCT when in doubled, 150% in OZEMY when it doubled and 100% in EMLX at it's low. All these stocks went even higher, and all have fallen (except EMLX). Everything else I have invested in (both long and short) is probably at a loss/break even. One I missed was ASYT even though I was sure it was going higher from it's lows. Drakes made me think twice about that one - I'd have to find out where but I blame him. Otherwise I'm quite happy spreading my risk at the moment and conserving my gains til the new year. One stock I've been looking at is LARS (I think Garvin mentioned it)- but I won't pick it up until the end of Dec. It will probably double in Jan, the other is AGIS (old ATCT). I bet they will both be trading at the same level (or much lower) at the end of Dec and both will double before the end of Jan. As WW says "mark this post!!!".
