Chris, I told you I'd go over your 3 posts of DD and comment. Grab some pop corn, this could get lengthy. #1654 DD#1. It looks like Visual Writer is nothing more than a question and answer piece of software. This could be good if the answers then search a data base for validity. ie: the answer fits between the max/min limitations of some requirement. In the field responses might be easy but the set up could require some heavy complications if you're dealing in the medical or government areas, but that'd be true with anything. #1707 DD#2. $1500 sure would cut your customer base down. This is designed for highly technical industries so maybe it's worth it. The energy field, medical, just about any industry with regulations to follow could use this. Your reference to VisiCalc was a good one. If Calkins can sell 3,000 copies by himself, and he's now got DeBeers pushing his product, we should see some awesome results. When? If they are selling this product in Europe and South Africa, what is Calkins doing about the language barrier? This guy Jeffrey Abramhs (sp) is a business consultant. Is he on the board or just a consultant? Is he in charge of marketing, sales, promotion of the company or the product? Also like the growth, from 6 to 23 employees, even if it is a result of the merger. And moving to a newer classy building is a good sign. #1722 DD#3. This is the one that cranked my motor. You said Mr. Calkins doesn't care what we type on the thread. Well, I don't want him to care, I want him to do his job. I was impressed. I want Mr. Calkins to care about his business, his company. "STICK TO YOUR GUNS, DO WHAT YOU SET OUT TO DO, DON'T STOP FOR ANYTHING AND TAKE NO DETOURS." In a very short time I have learned a valuable and expensive lesson. If someone makes a post that the CEO, CFO, President etc., says they told him/her this or that, 98% of the time it is bogus. ESPECIALLY when they were told "News tomorrow... this week... soon." Why? They should have their energies directed towards growth and development, not making predictions. If the predictions bomb, so does their creditability. If their energies are properly directed the results will be there --- WITHOUT getting stupid with predictions. I want to see the results, what is, not hopeful guesses. You also said Mr. Calkins thinks the only kind of investor relations is to meet his milestones. To this I say AMEN!! There was mention of hiring an IR person. Has he done so, and if not, why not? Would this be Jeffrey Abrahms? Mr. Dave Calkins seems to have his marbles all lined up. His last priority, minimal at best, should be comments on this thread. Do the business and the results will follow. I admire his objectives, his goals. Then the second to last paragraph bothered me. He is going to release more PR's because he now realizes the importance. I want him working towards goals, objectives, revenue, NOT STROKING MY EGO and vanity. When he has something to say I'll read it and hopefully it is not because he feels obligated to "brag". Isn't that why he wants to hirer an IR person? And why the change in attitude, and why now? CONCLUSION: All three posts are very encouraging. Mr. Calkins sold over 3,000 copies of Visual Writer by himself, DeBeers is selling in Europe and South America, employees are up from 6 to 23..... And the stock is down to 1/3 what it was a month ago. What's wrong with this picture? And I see no encouragement in the chart. I will keep this stock through the end of the year because I have a plethora of tax write offs already. If there is no indication of a positive turn around by the first part of January, I'm outta here. You did great with your DD, but it should be supported by the chart, the price of the stock, volume. It's not. There's about 1 1/2 months to turn this around. I hope it happens but am not holding my breath. When this dropped below .30 I was going to get out. I didn't. Was the decision a good one or a bad one. Time will tell. DuGen
