Keith:

On another note - I got my Metastock 6.5 Technical Analysis program
today so expect some techy comments on stocks that nobody (including
myself) is going to understand. My Engineering side couldn't resist
the number crunching game.

Two questions for you (as I am currently looking to
purchase Supercharts):

1. Any special reason you chose Metastock over others?
2. Did you buy direct from company or through a software
house?

...I'm not looking for a long answer to #1, just if there
was any particular reason. Hey, I'm a number-cruncher too.

Does MSWIN 6.5 include a database for Canadian Stocks?
------If I am not mistaken, it only covers NYSE, NASDAQ and AMEX

Which provider do you use to update your data?
------QP, TC2000, ...

Do you know of a software that will allow you to create your own indicators and apply them on some Canadian Stocks?
-----SuperCharts, WOW, GET....

Your response is greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance

Take a look at the chart and try and figure out when the rate cut was announced.

It looks crystal clear to me when the cut was announced. Was the link you posted for demonstrative purposes, or was that the chart you were using to buy and sell? Just wondering if it would have been as clear with Stockwatch intra-day charts, or you used SW Charts at all for this trade? I believe you have made references to a certain amount of "noise" on the Stockwatch charts.

I really should brush up on my TA. I recently bought a book that goes into some detail on it, but need to go to a bigger bookstore to pick up Dr. Elder's book.
