I believe that demand for wafers is up markedly, and the stock price is saying the same thing. I expect a surge in demand for hardware in the next several months, and that will come too fast for the demand to be met by new fabs, shrinks, etc. I think the primary beneficiaries will be photomask makers, lithography, and wafers. Yes, wafers. Thus my question awhile back as to how much freedom WFR has to raise prices in the short run:

Action Friday was a healthy retracement. We filled the gap at 10. Now the question is which way we head from here. Next week is traditionally strong, though.
