Brian, I agree with Ten. The onboard cache on K6-3 systems will produce a smaller percentage performance gain vs. K6-2, than the onboard cache on CeleronA systems did vs. Celeron. Scumbria

I never said anything about adding an L2 cache to the motherboard of a Celeron system. <If that is so , why isn't the PII so much faster since it has up to 1M of L3 cache on the Mboard ?> Uhhh, there is no L3 cache on any motherboard which supports Pentium II. Where did you get that notion? <If you are going state the reason is half speed L2 cache that is not going to prove your point , you opened the can of worms , you prove your statements not just make them .> Please, Brian, I'm not stating facts here, just opinions.
