Uh, since you've written the words "convertible debenture" I think we need a rain-dance now to exorcise the demons that have been let loose. Oh, what the heck, we were probably all thinking the same thing anyway...

I am not good with understanding debentures in full, but I have noticed that with only one exception in the past several weeks, PLRP does not make a run on the bid (the one exception was the bid falling from around .21 to .15 then rallying back to .21 before falling again). With a normal stock, you'll see the bid at .25 on day, then .28 the next, .33 the next, down to .25 the next, etc. Up and down, you know? Maybe it's my imagination, but PLRP sometimes seems to act in a way as if the MMs have a stockpile of shares available to sell at the moment there's any buying. Thus no "buying pressure" gets developed and the bid, in general, doesn't rise.

I'm writing all this but I have doubts that what I'm saying is true. That is, maybe the PLRP chart really is due to people selling (no tricks involved) and there's just a boatload of people out there who are constantly taking a loss (because with the one exception I mentioned, nobody's been able to make a profit for a while).

Just some thoughts. Perhaps the Edgar documents to be public by the end of the year will take all of the mystery out of these concerns.

Hey everyone,
just another quick post to go over some other thoughts and notes I had. Like I said yesterday, Colleens share numbers are close. It looks like about 2 million in the float +1m to financiers+1m to promoters. So a grand total of 4m (approx) in float. My personal guess is that these shares have pretty much all been dumped. I gave my personal opinion on these promotion groups to Dave and I think he agreed. My opinion is these guys are a waste of time.
PATRICK- Please do not take offense to the previous statement, it is not directed at any one in particular, just my own feeling.
Dave wants to say more, but has become much wiser over the last couple of months. He is not allowed to discuss PR's or stock buyback on advice of his attorney. Good advice I believe. He is also getting threatening E-MAIL from someone on this thread. I believe I know who, but he would not confirm nor deny. Anyway this person is threatening SEC action.
My gut feeling meeting this man is he is true to his word. I have made a living being able to judge people and am pretty good at it. Does this mean the company will not fold? Nope, it very well could like any small company. Is it a bullshit company, NO! We are not being scammed. The revenues are primarily going to come from the acqusition as far as I could tell, however Pacel has done NO MARKETING until recently so I feel 1999 projections may be conservative if just a couple things fall their way.
The books are ready to report, they are just waiting on audited confirmation on a couple of things from the new company.
Chris, you had a question regarding language. The answer is that at this point it is English only. DeBeers primarily distributes to English speaking countries so at this point they have no other version. At some point I think it will happen. I think that between the two of us we covered just about everything we could. If we were fooled, Dave and Kay deserve an academy award.
By the way, I got an E-Mail from Dave today thanking me for stopping by. Class all the way.
I think that is all for now, but if you have any questions, let me know. I probably will not be back until Monday, so everybody have a GREAT Thanksgiving!!!!!
Sincerely,
Garry

I'm not home and don't have my notes with me...but... from memory.. during my phone call to Calkins I did not get the number of shares that was used as payment for this acquisition but I do recall the the shares will be tied up (restricted) for 5 YEARS... (I also had a recent post on this)....

and when I taked to Calkins I specifically asked him if he'd ever issued any debentures, reg S's and so forth and he said ....NO!!!... I told him I was glad to hear this as I was concerned with the volume trading, the supposed 2M float and we were dropping in price. This is when I got the break down of what shares were out there and in who's hands....

IMO...this stock does not trade like a stock with a float of 2M.... the reason for my search... and I found that approx 3-4M additional shares have been added to the float.
