Greg,

I try to service all of my vehicles regularly.

in addition to my Jeep Cherokee, I have a Ford F150 with over 176K on it, a Ford Ranger p/u with over 112K on it, and a Chevy C250 with over 165k on it.

My personal vehicles are my wifes Windstar with 65k, my Firebird (Formula) with 45K, and my sons 77 Monte Carlo with with over 150k.

Needless to say, I milk them for what they are worth.

Have fun,
Phil

Can I join the high mileage club?
I have my daily driver, an 82 Blazer with 220,000+ miles and going(Third engine though).

My previous car was a 62 Plymouth Valiant with over 210,000 miles (Hard to tell exactly as I drove it with a broken speedo cable for quite a while). My father got it new and gave it to me in '69 when it got "too old". It is now retired, restored to as close to original as possible, and only goes out on sun shiny days. I miss the fact that when something went wrong with it, it was easy to diagnose and fix. I also never had to worry about somebody stealing it for its looks.

OK - I have a 1954 Cadillac with 325,000 miles on it, never had the heads pulled. It was my grandfather's car, he changed oil every 3000 miles. He drove like a bat out of hell even in his 80's so it's not like the car was run easy. When he died it sat in his garage for the most part because grandma didn't like to drive. I inherited it when she passed on at age 94. It burns a little oil, maybe a quart every 1000 miles, but aside from that seems to be fine. Original hydramatic too...
