My bet is if the senate can not finish the trial prior to Jan. 20.. they will kill the trial in the senate.... read the presidental succession amendment. If they can get him out before 1/20/99, Gore takes office, serves more than 2 years and is limited to 1 more term, if after 1/20/99, Gore gets to run for re-election twice, and has the potential for nearly 10 years in office... the senate republicans will not allow that

The question is whether Clinton should be impeached -- if he violated his oath of office, he should be.

Whether he should be removed from office is something for the Senate to consider.
