"TRUE.... the MM's really don't care, they make their wages from the spreads, the greater the volume, the smaller the spread."

Colleen I have to disagree with this statement. Vol has nothing to do with the spread. I have found that float and shares available control the spread.
I also thinks it unlikely for "lots of individual investors who have one million+shares " to get together and decide to sell today.
I think its more likely for a couple of MM to get together and decide to do a classic shake out before any good news comes out on the company. But that is also just a theory.
today the MM had the bid and ask showing at the same price many times.
So even when I see these trades come across my log I have no way of knowing for sure if they are buy or sells. What one usually does is wait to see in which direction the price goes. But if the MM wanted to shake out some cheap shares they can move the price any way they want in order to achieve their goals. And I know for a fact this was done at least once today for sure. Iwas on the phone with someone buying 200k of shares and they were getting confirmation of 50k at a time these were being treated as sells in the price movement by the MM.

Also how come the MM all of a sudden were filling 1 million sell orders. Usually these are broken up . Why did they want that out there for all to see? Could possible they want to scare some shares out of some investors. Another theory.

I saw 1 millions buy go by yesterday morning and called the company asking if they knew who was unlodaing shares. they said all shares held by the company are restricted. So if it was a sell by a individual. Well who ever was doing it was doing it all this week and at about the same time every morning. Between 10:00-11:00am.

I really don't know what happened today. I believe the MM did a excellent job of putting up a smoke screen so it was very hard to tell what was going on even with MM screen and trading logs to view.

I plan on going back this evening and studying the trading log a bit more and see if I can spot anything.

I don't believe the MM are out to get us. If they were this would be happening on a reg. basis.

I believe theories will abound tonight but who really knows what happened today.
I know I didn't sell any shares today. and would have loved to been able to pick up more here.

Has John ever mentioned a floorless convertible debenture to anyone? I hope PRWT has never considered this dangerous type of financing.
