Just got back from PSFT headquarters. Nice place. No one looked stressed out....I am in the wrong line of work.

I hear they are trying diligently to get the stock price up (through the grape wine).

Hi Michelle,

ORCL's application license revenue increased 31% in the recent quarter. About five or six analysts upgraded that stock on the report.
I'm considering doubling my position in PSFT's stock. Is their any reason that you can think of that PSFT will not report comparable or better license growth rates than ORCL for this December's quarter? Am I missing something but isn't PSFT in a sweeter spot in the market?

Thanks again,
David

Hi Michelle,
Does the recent deal with IBM mean that PSFT gets access to the AS400 customers? I understand that that system is proprietary to IBM. Oracle and SQL can't operate on that platform. If that's right, doesn't that mean that PSFT gets a bunch of customers that SAP and ORCL can't compete with.

Finally, do you have any idea how big the installed base is? Could this double PSFT's current customer list?

Thanks as always and have a great holiday.

David
