Chris, much obliged. I will add to my stack of other "superstar" approaches, but with the appropriate disclaimers of course.

I have been following a few penny stocks for a year, and my instincts have not been as good as yours. (Hopefully, PLRP will turn things around, but I am not planning on it necessarily.)

I don't really have a gameplan, or solid screening approach to penny stocks, so that is my goal over the next year. One person says when dealing with pennies, work simply on volume because volume dictates price moves for these generally very illiquid stocks. I have another friend who is a lifetime member of 2 stock clubs, but who does better short term trading weekly or daily fax recommendations from a couple of additional services. I have another friend who has been very successful with his portfolio, to the point he has an informal newsletter (I am working on drafting his disclaimers), but in fact he has done well in large part to buying Amazon, and then more Amazon, etc., at the right time. He says buy all the Amazon you can afford (but he could be totally wrong too, as he has been in his business deals from time to time).

I guess live and learn, and be lucky. The three "ls". This is a game, but also analytical, entertaining, and tumultuous.

Thanks,

Terry Thomson
