Just a guess, but the retail sector hit a bottom on Dec. 23 last year. Sounds like a good shopping day this year too.

<<Can anyone tell me how much longer CPU is going to suck before it starts demonstrating what a great value it is?>>

Maybe one day, maybe several months. In either case, the stock is grossly undervalued and should be bought at these levels. If it continues sinking in the short-term, then I suggest dollar-cost averaging. CPU is not an internet stock (at least...not yet). Be patient....

CPU - what is patience?

Two year chart for BBY, stating in December 1996....

Patience is that thing you learn after unloading a perfectly good stock because it won't move up "quick enough"...and then you check out its price two years later and suddenly realize you would have made 900% on your money, rather than losing the rest of it daytrading.

I continue to stand by my CPU strong buy recommendation.

Looks like a no brainer if you don't mind going long for 1-2 quarters for the earnings to do their thing
