CTC,
I decided to get out of PSFT today. I know that it is possibly a mistake for the long term (12+ months), but I can park my money (whatever's left of it:) elsewhere in the meantime.

My reasons to take a loss (of almost 50%) include uncertainty about the next few quarters. This, coupled with PSFT's attempts at creating a shell company just to be able to invest in R&D, the Y2K issues where IT managers are planning to not make investments in app s/w in the second half of 99, etc. make me extremely uncomfortable with holding this for now. Additionally, I can offset some gains in 98 for tax purposes.

Good luck to everyone who is long on PSFT. I do hope that it gets moving in the right direction (up:). Currently, I'm neither long nor short, and will just be lurking.

- Brian.
