I just read an article in InformationWeek or some magazine like that which said that ERP spending is about to enter the second wave and it went into detail on that. And then I read another article about ERP companies which said that ERP spending will likely increase after 1999 due to pent up demand from Y2K focus being released. This made alot of sense to me. In addition, I combined that with the things my friends in the industry were saying about how competition is intense and that business is seriously off. All of those things were enought to convince me it was time to take a loss and reconsider it after 1999 is over.
