Here is some information about the Longport scanner which will be
marketed by PanAmerican Healthcorp.

The LDS is a portable high frequency (20 MHz)
ultrasound scanner which captures and
reproduces images of soft tissue at a high
resolution utilizing a lap top computer. The images
can be stored in a .bmp file and e-mailed to an off
site diagnostic center for interpretation. Included in
the imaging process is the ability to produce a
fractal analysis of any portion of the imaged tissue
for objective interpretation. Scans can be
compared in a tile format with up to six (6) scans
viewed at one time.

The scanner will not be available for purchase. It will only be
leased by the company for approximately $2,000 per month. It is
estimated that the demand will be extraordinary because of the
applications possible from cancer detection to dermatology. It
will also be used for monitoring the development and healing of
wounds. Potential marketing fees are substantial.

Here is an excerpt from the last press release of PanAmerican
Bancorp.

"Schmitz said the agreement with National Health & Safety includes the national marketing of a new cancer detection technology for which NHS recently acquired the exclusive North American rights. The new technology is a soft tissue ultra-sound scanner."
