Lots of people lie, and ANYONE caught deserves to be punished. Lots of people beat their wives- I personally don't think that is much of a defense though. Same with lying.

You might note that the Livingston and Hyde owned up to what they did and they weren't even in court. Golly, isn't THAT strange?

That is an utter, vile, contemptible lie. What you say cannot more graphically demonstrate what conduct we can anticipate if we tolerate Clinton's perjury, obstruction of justice, and abuse of power.

<<It's expected. No big deal. >>
What stunningly frightening statements. Do you truly believe this? Is this how you live your life? Is this how you'll raise your children? Is this truly the ethical standard you accept for yourself and your country? Just because we are all human and capable of behaviors like this, does this mean we don't ask more from ourselves, strive toward an ideal? That we can't hold people, particularly our leaders, who go on and on about honor and duty and integrity and sacrifice, to a higher standard?
You are wrong. Lying in court IS a big deal and must not be tolerated. Otherwise the entire judicial system becomes a farce---which is precisely what is happening.
