More likely they don't have the face to sit there. Newt, because he was screwed by his own party men. And Livingston, because every time a fellow Republican looks at him, he/she will be forced to recall, "Gosh! This b^&%#@* was screwing around for 33 years! And NOW, he is our new speaker!..." :-)

But with Newt's professional, non-partisan concern for history and Constitutional issues, you'd think he'd want to have his name associated with this history battle for truth, justice, and preservation of the Constitution, don't you? It's all quite strange. Or, more realistically, it's all politics.
