BSC's Dana Telsey said that this weekend on CNBS. She also said 1% of Christmas sales came on the internet. Is that right? Awfully low sounding to me, but heck capitalize the internet at 5 times gdp, what's the big deal? <g>

Our local paper had an article about "Retailers Making up for Low Holiday sales with After Christmas Bargains". Now I wonder- can selling merchandise at 50-75% off help the bottom line very much?

Mike, Do the Niners stand any shot at beating the Pack this week? Not sure how long since your last visit to the Stick, but it's pitiful. Except for McDonald and Norton, our defense doesn't hit anybody. No such thing as a pass rush - even Steve Bono throws for 240 yards against us yesterday. Using some TA logic from other threads, I extrapolated Farve to throw for 800 yards against this defense. I know, who needs TA to figure that out? Pack +3.5? I'm feeling guilty already. Best, Doug
