IMHO: A disaster only relative to the scientific hoopla hype on this board which is mere form without substance, now, for over two years.

I second the call for calling the past year a "slam dunk disaster" for Lgnd. Only unintelligent spinmeister's like Zagorin can honestly write " Well Lgnd is up 67% since October" . Give us a break Bob! You have been on this board for quite a while now, and you know darn well that the yea-sayers were predicting $30 a share by Aug 98 and continued to call Lgnd cheap at $20 (which i don't recall it ever hitting). So stop with the yea-sayer spin and admit that this year has been a disaster for the long term Ligand shareholder.
