I was just looking for extreme moves and I did not peg anything really.

I isolated a similar possible pattern from 1/3/94 and it jumped up for a half hour then sold down into 11 Eastern and just banged around there the rest of the day. It opened just above 466 ran to 467.80 then dropped to below 465 and recovered in the last hour to close almost unchanged.

I don't know, I need to refine the search better. If tomorrow plays out like that day did all daytrading will be finished by 11, or so. But I'm not confident that is the correct pattern. I'm more prone to think the day moves somewhat up, probably all day.

Now if I could just find a pattern that fits my purely emotional sense!
