I only have EOD data. 10/27/98 looks similar to me to today. I don't know how it looks inside the bars though.

Best Wishes,

Bob

Patrick,

Today seemed like a continuation of the thin trading volatility of the
last 3 weeks. Only this time there were a lot more players and a lot more money.

Personally....it also seemed like I traded my *expectations* rather
then the fork signals I'm working with....Does one ever completely get
away from this emotional anticipation....?

Remember I posted that 3 seperate time projections were to converge on
about noon...? Well I was looking for a dramatic move and was disappointed
with no well defined bounce. But I did say they might become the pivot
point of the day.

Well the forks were correct and I *Failed*
Failed to act on that information and continued to anticipate a move-up
right down to the end of the day. Blinded by expectations.
Wasn't discovered until the sideways movement was completed at about 2:30.

I know you've come across this problem many times...?
Do you ever get over anticipating moves rather then following signals...?

That was a clear fork signal that I've used many times...clear as ice
water in your face....But I failed to move...got to figure this out...?
