Do you have your whole portfolio in 4 stocks?
Yes I do, Lamar, and boy, have I got yelled at on these threads for it. Two Gorillas, and two Kings. I just kept getting rid of the slow movers, and reinforcing the winners. I knew I wanted to stay all tech, and, after getting burnt on small caps, this is the way I ended up. The Wal Marts and Home Depots of this world are never going to give you the results of the four I have. I had the same reaction as you to the DOJ situation at MSFT, but thought it over in December and got back in. It is 32% of my holdings right now, and I am up 20% on it. Go to Tech2000 on the profiles, and read his post's on MSFT.

Lower pc prices equates to more pc's sold, to more users
of the internet, etc., etc., etc..

The court case against Microsoft will have little to no
negative impact as evidenced by its surging price. Bill
will just have to go through all the appeal processes and
by the end of the day today's technology will be non-existent.
I believe investors are betting MSFT will win and if they
are right then we haven't seen anything yet!!!

Here's one analyst's prediction:

The bottom line is one should hold onto his gorillas through
thick and thin and that includes CSCO.
