Chuck, a question, for you to address in a single simple post so that
this thread will not turn off topic into tomorrow. In my above noted
post I gave the link to the thread where this stuff is debated.

Why: If the answer to control gun violence is enforcement of existing
laws, those on the "books" to address any violence acts by citizens.
Then why are these laws not fully enforced ?

Why can one still buy an illegal handgun on a street corner ?
Why can one still buy illegal drugs on a street corner ?

If its a question of law enforcement, which is funded by tax money of
local state and federal, then why do not the majority of tax payers
simply say spend our tax money in enforcement of existing laws in an
amount to get the job done ?
