Colin,

As you know I use the tradewind add-on so I don't know what you guys are talking about. But the rebuild on my RT charts is almost instant.

I've glanced at SEOL interval charts but found I don't need them since I use tradewind.

sorry I'm not adding to the
conversation.... Postal rates go up today!http://www.msnbc.com/news/230475.asp

Jeff

Colin: I will try to say it one more time, last try...

I know you can save your charts with the ticker symbols. But, each new day you have to select the symbols and then click on the box in the upper right hand corner to start receiving a data stream for that day.

Simple saving the symbols in the chart windows, does not cause them to be active when you restart the software. So, you have to go through and activate each one either by your method or mine...once again that was not my point so let us drop this discussion.

The point has been and will continue to be: Let's say about 2pm EST during a trading day you have to (for what ever reason) reboot you SEOL software, you have to cause each symbol, up to fifty (if you want to be able to quickly switch back and forth), to start receiving ticker data, this is not automatic just because they are saved to the ticker pull down menu of your chart window or because they located on your quote window.

It has taken me as long as twenty minutes or longer to get all fifty symbols tick data current. With QCharts (Quote.Com) it loads ticker data each time you call it down, but it does it so fast it is almost instant. If for any reason you are faced with loading your software late in the day with QCharts, you have almost instant access to all the ticker information for interval or time/sales analysis.

It is great...nuff said! I am not trying to hype QCharts, so let us drop this discussion. If you doubt what I am saying, I suggest you try QCharts. I have both services at this time.

Regards,
LG
