It all sounds like mindless babble that I used to hear during my days at The Evergreen State College.

I will say one thing. It is said that the Information Age has reduced our communities and the manner in which we interact, to this!!

I do not deny the existence of collectives; I am merely stating that there is no such thing as a "collective good". Remember? This is where the discussion started.

There may be a good which impacts favorably on a large number of individuals, but there is no "collective good". That is a fallacy and an artificial construct. It is also a very dangerous belief that can destroy individual freedoms in the name of an amorphous "common good".
