Ernie,

The cost of reporting financials are in the range of $5,000.00 to $8,000.00 per year -- Someone is up in the night with that $30,000 fiqure, unless they are paying for each division to be reported as a separate entity, which I doubt. $30,000!!! (whoa.)

Ernest for my own education, I need to get updated on this latest SEC
crackdown on penny stocks. I understand they must become reporting (file a 10k?or whatever). I forget the date they must comply. I should have dug out the article before writing because it shows my ignorance.
However your post suggests it costs $30,000.00 to become a reporting company. I do not understand this. Why should it cost the company anything? I am perhaps missing something in the new regulations. Does the company price have to be above a certain price level? I didn't think so. I was under the assumption that the only requirement was that they start reporting which many of them have not done. I believe it has to be a proper auditable report only and stock price has nothing to do with it. Am I wrong?
