Sounds like you have DOA mobo. assuming its getting power. I had one. Verify the CPU Fan comes on. If so you have power to the MOBO. It should always at least beep. If it doesn't beep you need a replacement. You might consider calling Abit as a final measure. I did and they instructed me to have my board replaced.

ABIT BH6 "PN1" pins 8-9,

The manual does not indicate if pin 8 or pin 9 is the +(red) lead. Does it make a difference?
