Shows that our Investment Banker friend may be the one shorting EDII shares.

If EDII were to purchase 1 million shares of HERZ at the current price, it would cost EDII a considerable amount of shares. With the potentially "restricted" nature of the shares, other deals were done at a 50% to 75% discount to the current share price. Therefore 1M shares at $3 costs $3M. EDII has done other deals at between 2 and 10 cents per share (intrinsic value), but lets assume 10 cents. This would require another 30,000,000 of EDII, bringing the total to about 150M (the acquerin shares were not included in the issues amounts of the filing, nor were options to be exercised).

The split will likely be 15:1, then HERZ will continue the trading pattern of the last year. And they have acquired a company with more losses.

So this was the news to get excited about?
