Yes I agree with you...I haven't been able to get a copy yet...Brokaw's book is a sell-out everywhere I've looked so far. I'll get a copy soon. That was a beautiful post...I share your reverence for their willingness to sacrafice and survive...they were self-reliant in a way that our two generations will never achieve...but the world is a completely different place now. It's a challenge for me to communicate with my 75 year old Grandmother, but the rewards are always worth the effort. I thank you for sharing your reflective and sensitive thoughts with me...
