You are an interesting person. I enjoy the intellectual debate because since my daughter went to Las Vegas (to become a fourth grade teacher), I haven't had much. My wife, while very intelligent, does not like to debate. I miss that because I was raised with it. I do get into trouble once in a while. A year or so ago I was thrown out of a writers' group I enjoyed because a position I took while introducing my piece was misinterpreted as a personal attack on another writer. Well, I wasn't really thrown out and they let me read my piece, but I could never go back. Actually a world in which people disagree peaceably is much more interesting than one in which ideas escalate into warfare. I predict that the Internet will play a role in achieving that as soon as the novelty of flaming wears off. I suppose flaming is harmless enough, but I prefer debate. Thanks for being a part of that.
