Maxwell, you've got to be kidding. This was a terrible report from AMD, and yet you are still boasting. More production problems at 400 Mhz, crashing ASPs, flat unit shipments in Q1, no K6-3 announcement, etc. Things get worse, not better from here on out. AMD better start looking for a suitor.

Maxwell,

Re: "Wasn't you the biggest fool who said that AMD couldn't get CPU to run
at 1.8V?"

NO Maxwell, I believe that I recommended that AMD develop a RevB FET that
would compete directly against Intel's .25um process (Intel's process is at
1.8V). Looks like AMD needed to do this to get to 400mhz ... But the reports
are that AMD is having Production Problems ... again and again. <ggg>

Make It So,

Maxwell,

Surprised by this semi-disastrous quarter, are you going to change your profession again and moving further east? From fortune-teller to butcher to gas-station attendant, you must be a man with many talents.

Speaking of talents, AMD's financial office must be run by a whole bunch of buffoons (or baboons). The sign for a good quarter looked very good in the street, but financially another disappointment. It looks like AMD needs another CFO. Some one that has 1% of the talent of Barrett (now president of Intel) would be sufficient.

Meanwhile, I shall see you in Hawaii when Jerry throws in another extravagant party this summer. Remember --- going to the sea?
