Isoman. First you need to fix your roof. Next you have to put on more than your undies and get away from the puter. Of course if the puter your on smells like fish, you shouldn't be on it to begin with. Now you have to lose the peanut butter cups, peanut butter hides the smell of most things. Trust me, you will want to be able to clearly detect the smell of fish. Oh, never mind. Sorry I brought it up. Stick to the peanut butter cups and you will be fine. Bob

I received my Powerx package yesterday, and here is what I have gleaned from a cursory reading of the material: This is a method of charging your medical expenses on a credit card issued by Beneficial National Bank. In exchange for immediate payment for her services, the doc discounts her fee somewhat-it looks like about 20-25%. I presume if you have medical insurance with a 20% co-pay, you wouldn't need Powerx. If you don't have medical insurance you are likely to be a slow pay and the doc is happy to get the payment from Beneficial. All this for $16.95/mo. Apparently, the $16.95 goes to NHLT for putting the program together. We tried something similar to this at the New England Merchants Bank in Boston back in the 60's. It involved travel agents and vacation packages. It didn't work out and was abandoned after about a year. Also enclosed was a list of medical providers in my area who are enrolled in the Powerx plan. About 10%of the docs in my area signed up. Not 70%. I believe the 70% figure quoted by NHLT includes labs, hospitals, Emergency ambulance services, etc. FWIW with no value judgment.
