Dennis, thanks for the update. I concur with your assessment. ALA has danced for too long to not be serious on this round. DBSS' needs are chump change for them, yet DBSS could represent another nice card in ALA's hand for wireless communcations in Europe. This is especially true given that E-Sat will deploy using CDMA...which I am advised is far superior for Euro markets than the technology from DBSS' major competitor in that market: Orbcomm. Orb is licensed to use narrowband..vhf stuff. vhf crowds the noisy airways in europe more so than here. It is used for personal communications, utility companies, etc. Hence, a LEO CDMA operator could open many new markets with a higher quality service.

ALA's movements are greatly slowed by the big picture events of the re-structuring of defense and aerospace industries in Europe. A DBSS deal, while a small fish in comparison, makes good sense for ALA and should get done in time. It just appears to be slowed by Corporate Monopoly, European Style.

Everything at DBSS seems to happen more slowly than expected...BUT, things always seem to come to fruition in due course. Patience here should yield great returns.

.......holdin' and hopin'.
