TV/COM International, a subsidiary of Hyundai Electronics, inked its first contract to provide multichannel multipoint distribution service equipment, signing a deal to provide set-top boxes to SkyCable of Manitoba. SkyCable is launching a digital network this fall that will provide service to a 60,000 square mile area around Winnipeg.

Reading the announcement closely, it looks like Cube acquired certain assets from Tv/Com. They did not buy the company from what I read, and it does not say if if it cost money or stock, and it does not say if they acquired all the assets:

".... acquisition of communication technology, patents, and personnel from TV/Com International..."
