Right. On the "integrity" front, I noticed in the Wed. WSJ at the library, the notion that Nixon would have likely won a Senate trial is still being pushed. Talk about revisionist history. I'll have to check out The Final Days again sometime, but I think that it confirmed the story that Goldwater told Nixon he had maybe 10-12 votes to acquit in the Senate, and those votes didn't include Goldwater.

There's lots of sleaze in politics. Given the documented lying of Rehnquist, Hyde, Barr, and Lott, and the history of the "secret" Starr Grand Jury proceedings, raising Clinton about the crowd of his detractors seems questionable to me. Then there's that other issue of the Iran-Contra cover up that never ended. What more do you want to know about Lewinsky et. al. anyway?

John,

Shame means nothing to Slick.

The only thing that matters to Slick, and Mz. Slick, is that he
remain as president through to the end of his term.

NOTHING else is as important, whatever the cost to the nation.

The two Slicks are, without question, the sleaziest SOBs ever to
occupy the White House. Furthermore, they are being supported
in their crimes by the sleaziest SOBs ever to occupy both houses
of congress.

Slick's fate will affect the long term health of this nation.

They are tampering with the very essence of the republic... it's rule of law.
