*Continued stem cell subthread*--diabetes/CTII

I saw a message regarding one of my other
companies about being in the "quiet period".
With their third quarter results having been
sent October 30...would that put the company
into the next so called quiet period?

(As long as I'm here, another blurb from ctii PR,
and then I'll let the thread take a breather from
all this...)

During the third quarter, the U.S. Patent Office
has issued six new patents related to our proprietary
encapsulated-cell technology that further strengthen our
patent position in this important field. The recently
issued patents broadly encompass methods of delivering
biologically active molecules, methods of treating
neurological disorders and methods for regulating
cell growth within encapsulation devices. The Company's
patent portfolio in the field of encapsulated-cell therapy
now includes more than 50 issued or allowed U.S Patents
covering methods of cell encapsulation, delivery of
therapeutic molecules and treating disease, as well as
other processes related to the surgical procedure,
manufacture and transport of our implants.

So I would guess that you encapsulate something in
a very small membrane and embed the device in the
pancreas in order to reestablish functionality.
Ha...just displaying my ignorance on this! But
maybe something like that...
